| Activities |
The highlight for most boys is the monthly camping trip. Traditionally, we plan beach, snow-skiing, cabin and cave trips in the Winter months; hiking, backpacking, rappelling and biking trips in the Spring and Fall, and river and lake trips during the Summer, which include canoeing and kayaking. We go on at least one week long camping trip (typically Boxwell Scout Reservation) every summer, and have gone on 1-2 week long "high adventure trips" for the older scouts to Philmont in the New Mexico Rockies, Sea Base in the Caribbean twice, the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and Canada twice, and Eagle's Landing in Virginia twice. All of our camping trips revolve around a theme and rotate locations from year to year.
