BSA Troop 5

Troop 5 is an active Boy Scout troop which meets on Tuesday evenings at New Hope Community Church at 6:30 PM. New Hope Community Church is located at 605 Wilson Pike, Brentwood, Tennessee.

Our program makes time for and understands these other important commitments.

The founder of Boy Scouts, Lord Baden Powell, said that Scouting is GAME with a PURPOSE—to develop future leaders of strong character, good citizenship, and all-round fitness. In order to accomplish this, Troop 5 emphasizes the teaching of Scouting Ideals (Promise, Law, Motto, Slogan, structured using the Patrol Method, emphasizing Advancement, providing a balanced Outdoor Program, supported by quality Adult Role Models, encouraging individual Leadership Development and Personal Growth.
